Episode 43 “The Presidential Dilemma” November 02, 1987

The White House invites Jem and the Holograms to Washington D.C. to perform for him. Annoyed they were no invited, The Misfits follow the Holograms to D.C.. They catch a glimpse of Synergy and report the sighting to Eric. Recognizing their description of the equipment, Eric contacts the government and informs them that the Holograms are a threat to national security.

The President is then kidnapped by a super villain and Jerrica is the only one who can save.
